Robert has a Bachelors of Music in Performance from Crane School of Music and a A.S.A in Applied Science with Honors form Onondaga Community College. Mr. Bob, as some students call him, started to play guitar in his early teens under the tutelage of jazz great Carmen Caramanica. Bob then traveled to Buffalo to further his guitar studies under the tutelage of Jeremy Sparks, (Arranger, Buffalo Quartet member, and great classical guitar teacher). Under Jeremy’s guidance Bob flourished in his studies and then decided to go to “Crane School of Music”.
At “Crane School Of Music” Robert was taught classical guitar by Dr. Doug Rubio. Dr. Rubio is a great teacher of tone, technique, and performance. Also at “Crane School Of Music”, Robert had the honor to perform for “The L.A. Guitar Quartet”, David Leisner and played in many ensembles and concerts. He was also one of the winners in the new music competition in which he played Voices de Profundis by Stepan Rak. My Story and Skills
Welcome!
Where music and dreams come a live! Hello out there in the virtual world! This is Bob K coming to you from my Cellar Dweller Recording Studio. I’ve always had these sound waves, melodies, tunes, cascading soundscapes ringing in my ears. My musical influences are very wide indeed. Furthermore I grew up with Jimi, Page and Beck. Bach, Mozart, Chopin, and the great Debussy are also so dear to my ears. Certainly the great flamenco guitar players and classical guitar soloists play a great inherent influence when needed. There are so many more great musicians that I draw from. Above all I love music of all varieties shapes and forms. Finally this helps me create all of the different types of music that I compose and record. Please feel free to comment or drop me a line. All are welcome! Don’t worry I have thick lizard skin………..

I have taken lessons with Bob for four years now and he is one of the best teachers I have ever had and one of my favorites. He has taught me both guitar and piano and has helped me with my songwriting. I definitely recommend Bob if you want to learn how to play some good music!
