Bob’s Beginner Guitar Course(For All Ages)

(For Acoustic or Electric or Nylon String Guitars)

Course Includes: Proper hand positioning, proper sitting positioning, holding the guitar, guitar care, how to hold a pick, proper note fingering, how to tune, how to use a metronome, reading standard notation, reading tab notation, note durations( whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes), treble clef, time signature(4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 6/8), key signature, strings 1-6 (first 3 frets natural notes) songs to go along with each string, sharps, flats, exercises/work outs, alternate picking, basic theory, basic commonly used chords/chord grids, basic strumming patterns, music styles covered (pop, rock, folk, blues, classical), scale’s (C major, G major, D Major, F Major, a minor, e minor, b minor, d minor) scale construction and much more. Note: This course can be applied to acoustic guitar, electric guitar or a nylon string guitar, plectrum or finger style!

Farruca 1a. Farruca 2. Soleares 3. Alegrias 4. Tangos, learning flamenco compas’s, thumb falsetas, 

Intermediate: Learning more advanced techniques, pull offs, hammer on’s, trills, mordent, grace notes, flamenco tremolo, extended arpeggios, major and minor scales, triplets and 16th note counting, various Rasgueado techniques, alzapua, golpe, picado solo scale riffs, more flamenco forms, extended intermediate repertoire and much more!
